At the moment we are moving out of the time of Taurus energy, a time of growth, development, solidifying, stabilizing, and becoming secure in the material world, into the time of Gemini energy, a time of moving about, gathering data and information, learning and studying, communicating ideas and beliefs, sharing knowledge and opinions, brainstorming and collecting the resources to move the "solid new beginnings" into expanded growth and greater accessibility – through the use of mental energy and intellectual exchange.
"Bouncing ideas" off other people in order to gain the advantage of their perspectives and viewpoints is one of Gemini's inherent strengths. It's one of the reasons Geminis love to talk; they're exercising those fabulous communications skills.
Geminis exist to exchange information with the minds of those around them. They are like the honey bees flitting from flower to flower gathering those all important "raw materials" . . . as they move from person to person, subject to subject, thought to thought, concept to concept. In the end, they blend it all together and create something new from the various pieces of what they've collected. In this way, the greater benefit and education of all concerned . . . evolves.
Gemini energy is quick, clever, curious, imaginative, innovative, inventive, versatile, ingenious and quite often decidedly brilliant in its creations. As arguably the most purely "intellectual" of the signs, it can be logical, analytical, reasonable, and diverse – but also strangely impersonal and at time disturbingly lacking in "emotional involvement." In the context of pure Gemini energy . . . emotions are a virtual nuisance, often best ignored.
Properly expressed, it plays with concepts and variations . . . searching for novelty, sparkle, sharp but graceful presentation, and the "appeal" that will attract the attention of other minds and expand the pool of intellectual diversity focused on a particular subject. Thus do bits and pieces of facts and information expand into possibly whole new ways of looking at the world. Where pure Gemini energy is concerned, there is nothing so wondrous, so lovely, nor so powerful as an idea "on the move."
When this kind of energy is not well-integrated into a personal chart, or when it conflicts with more preferred strategies, the results show themselves in actions and attitudes that are nervous, inattentive, scattered, inconsistent, impatient, easily bored, closed-minded, opinionated, argumentative, mentally unfocused, confused, intellectually proud and intolerant, and sometimes just plain wrong
The New Moon in Gemini this year is at 22 degrees of the sign – forming an extremely valuable trine with Mars which has just come out of Retrograde and is presently at 25 degrees of Libra. In fact, this position of the New Moon can mediate the opposition that exists and is intensifying between this position of transiting Mars (the position of Mars in the sky at the moment) and transiting Jupiter (the position of Jupiter in the sky at the moment) at 28 degrees of Aries.
Oppositions between Mars and Jupiter indicate a time of being in "constant overdrive," of having too much to do, of taking on more than you can comfortably handle, about being overly optimistic about how much you can actually accomplish with time and materials available, and thus being perpetually over-extended despite your best intentions and efforts. This has been the case in some department of life for everyone for the past several months – with the additional frustration of Mars being Retrograde, signifying the need to "do work over" that you thought was already finished and done at one point already.
On June 4, Mars finally (finally!) went direct again – so that the trend now is indeed toward obvious progress once more, and "digging out from under" the mountain of tasks and commitments you have taken on the last few months. This will gradually resolve itself more to everyone's satisfaction next month . . . but it will take at least another month before this feeling of having way, way too many irons in the fire and far too many places to give your "full time" attention and energy eases up noticeably. But this will get better, I promise.
As I said, the New Moon in Gemini this month will help mediate this opposition, by forming a sextile with Jupiter and a trine with Mars. The sextile provides an opportunity to better understand your efforts at expansion, to gain more helpful knowledge and information, to be able to think more objectively – (what a relief!!), and to construct better plans and perspectives of what you really want to do. It also helps you discover how to use your personal contacts and social network to gain your objectives – often by prompting you to reveal your desires to people who can offer solid advice and the wisdom of their own experiences and viewpoints.
The trine to Mars (now in direct motion, hallelujah!!) gives you an easy outlet to use your energy more productively, to determine what goals are possible and feasible, to choose from the many options you've been considering recently, and to pursue these ambitions and goals more efficiently to better meet the needs you are trying to satisfy in your life. This Sun / Moon combination trine to Mars is extremely creative and self-promoting – and fun besides. (It also therefore, very much supports artistic projects, leisure pursuits and romantic interests. And high time, believe me!!)
With the New Moon in Gemini this year at 22 degrees of the sign, if you have an important personal placement near that point, this month may be especially significant for you. In fact, if you have an important personal placement near 22 degrees of ANY sign, this New Moon event takes on special meaning. But since we must deal in more general terms here, I present the following notes for the experiences, interests and themes possible for the various signs this month.
IF YOUR SUN, MOON OR ASCENDANT IS IN ARIES: The focus for you this month is very much on your ability to use your mind and communication skills to best advantage. This is a month for talking, thinking, reading, studying, learning and exchanging ideas and viewpoints with others. This is especially true if your birthday is between the 10th and the 21st of April, or if your personal chart placement in Aries is somewhere near 22 degrees of the sign.
For all of you, the expansion in your personal life and self-presentation that has been forming over the past year can really find its best applications with the work you put into it this month. The resulting advantages can be quite impressive. You may have a very clear view now of what you want, what you can accomplish and the ways you can "be all you can be." This is an optimistic, exciting period of new growth . . . and solidification of the vision that has been collecting itself in your life – perhaps for as long as the last two years.
Finally, finally you may be seeing ways to do everything that needs doing – and to "make it all happen." Up to now, there has been a feeling of "being overwhelmed" . . . and while that may continue for a bit until the Mars / Jupiter opposition releases its tension finally over the next month – life actually does get better from here. And as I said, you are at last seeing some clear roads and blue skies up ahead. That's a better situation than has existed for a while.
Using the assets of a partner's energy or finding ways for you both to promote some mutually important project could also turn out to be a pleasant resource you'd not counted on properly up to now. IF YOUR SUN, MOON OR ASCENDANT IS IN TAURUS: Financial matters may be very much on your mind this month – but then what's new about that, hmm? Things like income, spending habits, budgetary considerations and the use of your material possessions are very personally and emotionally important to you during this time. You may be looking for additional sources of revenue . . . or giving a lot of thought to the changes and fluctuations that you find occur frequently in your financial life, but are nevertheless very upsetting for you when they put in yet another appearance.
Because you are seeing how personally important dependability and greater stability are in this all important area of your life, you are looking for ways to make things more solid – so they can support some very important project you want to develop over the next one to three years. You may be surprised to learn that your ambitions actually cover that amount of time, but the truth is, your vision of what you are trying to accomplish isn't yet complete. It's forming – possibly enough for you to have recognizable hints of things to come – but it's going to expand beyond what you presently expect. Believe me.

IF YOUR SUN, MOON OR ASCENDANT IS IN GEMINI: Your intellectual brilliance, impressive skills with mental energy and communications tools, and your creative versatility are all receiving fabulous emphasis this month – especially if your birthday falls in the last 1/3 of the sign (June 10 – 21) or your personal chart placement in Gemini is near 22 degrees of the sign.
You may feel very self-promoting this month – or at least you are really "feeling your oats" as you give in to an urgent feeling of restlessness, the need to move around, find new adventures, "get out of your rut," and banish boredom with some different interests and maybe come different personal contacts. You are looking for intellectual company this month – and the chance to trade ideas and viewpoints with a variety of sources.
You may not fully understand this yet, but in fact, you are near the end of a major 10 -–12 year personal growth cycle . . . and this sense of searching and discontent is the sign that something new and positive, another level of evolution and experience, is gestating in the background, waiting for recognition and the encouragement to introduce itself more consciously in your life.

Yes, indeed, it's ok to have fun. I'd even encourage it – because relaxation and pleasure can also be highly productive in terms of inspiration and creative activity. Just be sure that while you are also having such a good time "being yourself" . . . that you are also paying attention to the arriving hints and possibilities of things to come.
IF YOUR SUN, MOON OR ASCENDANT IS IN CANCER: This may be a month of withdrawing into that famous "shell" you carry with you . . . and watching the world go by from a place of seclusion and quiet contemplation. And if your life is too crowded and hectic to allow for much of this valuable "downtime" . . . this will be at the very least be what you want to do. So take advantage of such moments whenever you can – and if possible make time for such interludes of peace and restoration in your life. As one of the most emotional and sensitive of the signs . . . you really, really need this. In fact, you may owe it to yourself. It's been a hectic year these last twelve months.
You may still be feeling a tremendous pull between the need to take advantage of new growth opportunities in your public life and career directions . . . and the need to spend a lot of energy in your private life, home circumstances and family situation. These competing demands may have been formidable over the recent months . . . with you feeling pulled in two competing directions, and stretched to the absolute limit in trying to satisfy all requirements
There may have been times lately when you desperately wanted to be twins (or even triplets!!) because there just hasn't been enough of you to go around. The truth is, your real needs may have become lost and neglected in all this hectic activity. It's time now for you to refocus on those, sort out what's important to you, maybe even reprioritize some obligations in your life . . . and get ready to chart a new course soon.
A crucial part of charting a new course is also knowing at least your intended destination. Thus, pulling back, finding yourself some private moments to pause, meditate, ponder and search your inner landscape for new directions and new discoveries is one of the best uses you can make of this month . . . when the energies of the cosmos are encouraging exactly this sort of thing for you . . . and from you. As they say: Don't fight the feeling.
IF YOUR SUN, MOON, OR ASCENDANT IS IN LEO: The energies available this month are rather peculiar . . . in that there are a lot of planets in fire and air signs, which should be a very agreeable situation for you – since these are very compatible elements for your own fire sign personality. The problem is a bunch of them are arranged in problematic relationships with one another.
For example, you may be vigorously promoting some idea, opinion or viewpoint – some piece of information or other slice of wisdom – designed to help your relationships operate more smoothly, only to find yourself running headlong into "philosophical differences" with somebody else – that "somebody" very likely being one of the very souls you are trying so hard to reach agreement and accommodation with. It's an interesting impasse, with you devoutly believing in the rightness of your own thoughts and beliefs (and believing also that these offer tremendous benefits and room for compromise to "the other person") while "the other person" seems to be voicing positions and concepts that seem pretentious, grandiose and even hypocritically unrealistic in their basic scope.
The result is you feel absolutely "pushed to the wall" in your attempts to balance all the overwhelming things you need to learn, think about, understand, ponder, analyze, relate to and communicate with others regarding. You're feeling mentally and intellectually exhausted . . . maybe even whiplashed, while this same partner (or perhaps combination of partners) tears off on some wild tangent all the while insisting that you aren't thinking on a grand enough scale.
The relief for this bewildering situation comes this month with an opportunity (and the encouragement) to take a deep breath, maybe connect with your friends and social contacts, exchange some ideas and advice . . . and really, really consider the kinds of goals you want for the future. If you try, you and this problematic partner might be able to reach some acceptable compromise where you can see and appreciate the wisdom of his behavior, even as he still seems to have bitten of one hugely impossible "chunk" of effort and responsibility to chew.
Although you have some valid points in the ideas you are trying to get across, it's also possible this highly optimistic "other person" does know what he's doing. Yes, he may be having to really reach now in order to make good on his commitments, visions and prospects . . . but stretching in this way is one tactic for promoting growth. Things should ease up in six weeks or so . . . if you can hold on that long. And the final result may require a compromise over joint assets and "community property." . . . much more than you presently realize it will.
IF YOUR SUN, MOON OR ASCENDANT IS IN VIRGO : The issues slated for your close attention this month involve your career matters, your public standing and reputation, your professional direction, and your claim to standing and authority in your outer life – in many ways the most image-conscious part of your nature.
You have experienced a lot of frustration over the past several months regarding your financial situation, your need to generate an income adequate to the lifestyle you enjoy (or wish to enjoy). You have been reworking some of your traditional avenues of supply, actively seeking new means of generating revenue, acting in very self-promoting ways to attain a greater level of security and, above all, greater quantity for yourself. (Manipulating your "public image" or vigorously promoting your professional expertise is, in fact, one obvious way of accomplishing this.)
It may seem you've been offered a lot of attractive opportunities to meet these goals through partnerships, business alliances, your public contacts, and involvement with other people – only to have something go awry in the midst of completion. In the end, you seem to have been left with broken agreements, and unmet commitments as these "other people" acted in ways that suited their interests far more than yours – often after putting you through a lot of grief and inconvenience that they used to good advantage.
Dealing with this pattern has left you "taxed to the max" . . . so that now you feel simply overwhelmed, exhausted by the effort you've put forth, and dizzy from dealing with all this action without decent results to show for it. This particular pattern WILL be coming to an end soon. By that I mean the next couple of months – sooner in this period if you were born early in the sign (the late August birthdays) and later in this period the closer you were born toward the middle of September.
Your "way out" of this frustrating impasse comes this month when your ability to focus on your career – with both your essential self and your emotional commitment to this part of your life – offers you opportunities to really take pride in who you are and what you can do. This month, events may offer you some valuable new perspectives on both who you are and who you can become . . . that may inspire you to try some more self-protective and self-reliant tactics to take care of the goals you are trying to satisfy here.
It's a good time to really "take stock" of yourself and your professional image, directions and abilities, and learn to really value what you have created here. Over the next month, watch for the moments that are trying to give you this message, the events that are bringing you the information you need to better build and solidify these interests in the future. They will range from the subtle to the blatantly obvious. But they will also be astonishingly abundant, if you pay attention to their arrival.
IF YOUR SUN, MOON OR ASCENDANT IS IN LIBRA: You've just come through a time of redoing your ability to show personal initiative and assert yourself in the world. You may have been pursuing some personally important project designed to showcase you and your abilities – or you may have just been searching for ways to "make a more direct impression" on the world around you using the force of your personality and your ability to "get things done" as your advertising strategy in this effort.
One of the problems you automatically face in this regard, however, is the fact your sign is not built to show blatantly individual effort, pioneering spirit or naked personal ambition. You are always looking to work through partnerships and involvement with others. You aren't real comfortable striking out of your own; you need "company" . . . and thus your famous skills at compromise and diplomacy are often used to maneuver (or, yes, manipulate) others into supporting your desires, or accompanying you on your adventures . . . for the sake of "us" and "our relationship," words and concepts most dear to your heart.
Recently, though, you've been having to deal with "other people" . . . or perhaps someone specifically in a close personal relationship . . . whose own efforts at expansive self-assertion on a grand scale have been very challenging for you to handle, very hard to incorporate successfully into your own "life view" and "overall scheme of things."
You likely have felt overwhelmed and frustrated trying to both get your own points across to this "other person" (which could also be the more generic group of your "public contacts") AND trying to realign your own strategies to try to be supportive of his efforts (or to accommodate the inconveniences he was causing you with these efforts) because, once again, dealing with compromise and presenting a "united front" . . . is one of the primary ways you operate. Conflict and dissention are hard for you to tolerate directly.
An acceptable way out of this dilemma comes this month through opportunities to really share philosophies and viewpoints with this other person, to try to come to some new agreements and "new rules for living" you can both accept and accommodate. Different facts, new information, "larger ideas," more inclusive concepts can all have application here. Look for the arrival of these through all sorts of channels – from actual reading of books and articles that are pertinent to your mutual interests, to chance comments you make or overhear, to flashes of inspiration about new things to try. Above all, try to talk things over with this "other person" . . . to share perspectives and do that thing you, specifically, do so well: Walk a mile in their shoes.
IF YOUR SUN, MOON OR ASCENDANT IS IN SCORPIO: Life for you over the last several months has been absolutely crammed full of "work" to do. By this, I mean not only work related to your job and the daily things you do to earn money . . . but "work" in terms of services you perform, routines you follow, favors you do for other people, chores and tasks that you take on to perform . . . often more for the benefit of someone else than of yourself.
You have found more "opportunities to offer your services" than you ever imagined . . . or even wanted. But they have continued to arrive and insist on attention. And because you like to feel useful (or because you feel "obligated" to perform them in some way), you've taken on the challenge . . . even though it has interfered substantially with another personally important project you've been trying to launch for your own self-promotion and advancement.
This personal project is still in the "planning and production" phases, and is being kept very private and "behind the scenes" for the moment. It's not ready for vigorous assertion yet . . . and you've spent the last several months rethinking your directions, strategies and paths of approach to overcome some real obstacles that have stymied your forward progress recently.
It will be about another month before this sense of blockage and stagnation comes to an end and you can feel you are moving on once again . . . but take that good news for what it's worth. The end is in sight, and it's not far away. For now, however, there is an opportunity to build some solid options using other people's assets, talents, resources, possessions, structures, etc., for mutual benefit in this new construction of yours, these new goals and ambitions you are trying to initiate, these new efforts at advancement and self-improvement you've had in mind for what may seem like a very long time now. You will have opportunities this month to take advantage of other people's "things" and use them to build structures and options that wouldn't have existed without both these "things" and your "vision and effort." For some signs, the problem with this new approach would be having to deal with the sense of "ending" that inevitably comes with this energy. It may also be a problem for you, but the themes of death and renewal are constant ones in your character – so it will at least be a familiar challenge, if not an entirely welcome one.
One of life's patterns is that the creation of something new almost always is connected to the ending of something that has outlived its usefulness. As you construct your new channels of operation this month to move forward with your own life, you will be encountering more of these . . . again. You may face some difficult choices, but the transformation that comes from what you set in motion this month . . . could be quite impressive in the end.
IF YOUR SUN, MOON OR ASCENDANT IS IN SAGITTARIUS: Some kind of partnership, close personal relationship or important collaborative project possibly involving contact with "the public" is the focus of your attention during this time. The things you set in motion now will be extremely important in your dealings with "other people" over the next year, so watch for the opportunities as they arrive and open up for your benefit . . . and choose wisely from the options you'll have available soon.
You have been dealing for a number of months now with some extremely significant project of personal expansion and creative opportunity, something perhaps with artistic dimensions, something involving personal promotion, also having possible connections to things like pleasure, love and romance. At the very least, you are dealing with some thing, some person, some activity, or some enterprise you genuinely love . . . and are trying to offer out into the greater community for others to appreciate as well.
There are a couple of serious problems you've encountered here also, though. First . . . this "thing," whatever it is, has grown way beyond what you originally envisioned, and you have felt pushed and stressed tremendously trying to keep up with its demands and properly contain all it offers you so as to not be overwhelmed by the sheer dimensions of the project, effort, affair . . . and the tremendous possibilities it offers you.
I have good news and bad news regarding THIS part of the problem . . . the possibilities are tremendous, . . . and the "expansion" isn't over yet. In fact, you'll be working on this part of what is trying to "emerge" . . . for the rest of the year, backtracking, adding, growing, diversifying, and enlarging your original vision even further.
The second problem is a bit more annoying. "Someone else's goals" have been significantly interfering with your sense of forward progress in the past few months. And they've had the power (or maybe the ruthless self-interest) to block your efforts instead of support them. Indeed, you have a sense of "needing their cooperation" . . . in order to accomplish what you are trying to do. But while they may be saying they're trying to be cooperative and find the best solution for all concerned . . . the end result does not appear to be accomplishing that at all.
I have good news and better news regarding this situation . . . the good news is that the problem as it now exists is coming to an end. The eventual resolution may take place on "some other playing field" . . . as both the difficult energies involved are going to change signs soon . . . and that means a different solution possibly emerges also. In other words, you are going to find a way to work around this issue . . . but it won't be the one you've been trying to accomplish for so long. It may not even be one you've considered before.
The better news is that this "new partnership" or new collaborative effort I've mentioned above will provide you with "another person" whose viewpoints, talents, interests and abilities may be extremely helpful in bring this issue to a more satisfactory resolution. The person or contact can provide fresh insight that will allow a better compromise to take shape – so be open to hearing that news when it arrives. It could be the break you've been waiting for.
IF YOUR SUN, MOON OR ASCENDANT IS IN CAPRICORN: You've been going through a time recently of trying to allow growth, expansion, new opportunity and "greater abundance" in your home situation, family circumstances and private life. You've really been seeking to build structures (and oh, how much you enjoy even the thought of doing that) that will allow you to offer more to the important people in your personal world . . . and enjoy the benefits you've created right along with them.
However, activities in your public life, demands from your career and professional interests, matters of community standing and your public reputation . . .. "things" you had to satisfy in the outside world . . . have interfered with this to a great extent and kept you spread so thin in both areas you haven't felt able to satisfy either one properly. At times, it's been an overwhelming situation, this feeling of having to accommodate two "full time jobs" – both of which were crucially important to your feeling happy and satisfied with yourself and your life.
Another frustration is that the area of your career and public life was presenting you with demands for "reconstruction" of matters and issues you thought you'd already taken care of previously. So the sense of having to "redo" or "cover old ground" in order to expand what existed there, but inadequately so, has been especially annoying . . . because shoring up and backtracking don't much feel like real "progress" for a sign as committed to "empire building" as yours is.
Granted, the work was (and is) necessary for greater expansion in the future that you hadn't originally recognized, but the impatience has been substantial, especially since the private life concerns I mentioned earlier have been much more exciting and interesting to you . . . and you've wished to give them your more complete attention.
For what it's worth, this expansion of your "foundations" and personal world will stand you in excellent stead in the years to come . . . and the frustrations of these past few months, while still fresh in your mind now, will likely fade from memory as the situation resolves itself over the coming weeks and you begin moving forward more to your liking in both areas . . . and start encountering new challenges and opportunities in a little while.
True, the aggravation with this dilemma isn't over . . . and won't be for a bit, but you are going to gain a new perspective on your "work situation," perhaps rearrange something in your daily working environment, or gain some new information or advantage in your working conditions this month (which may be as simple as a "change of mindset" or maybe altered physical circumstances) that will help ease the stress considerably . . . and allow the coming closure on this issue to arrive without a lot more tension and trauma. I know that's welcome news.
IF YOUR SUN, MOON OR ASCENDANT IS IN AQUARIUS: Personal creativity, pleasure issues and self-promotion are going to be your focus for the coming month, which may be a welcome set of circumstances for the "greater personal independence" you are chronically seeking for yourself right now. There is a lot of support for both these matters this month . . . and a chance to make some headway toward having more freedom to enjoy and more opportunities to experiment and discover more satisfying avenues of self-expression.
For you, this last year has been a time of tremendous learning and intellectual growth. You demonstrably know more than you did twelve months ago, and the excitement of this new wisdom to share with the world has been both enjoyable and hard to contain. True, the situation that presented you with this opportunity, this learning experience, may have resulted from some fairly unpleasant "background and history" . . . that made "finding new ways" pretty much a necessary thing in order to stay productive and keep your sanity. But this month, at least, you may see how the re-arrangements were worth the effort.
For the past few months you've been dealing with blockages and frustrations from "someone else" with viewpoints, philosophies, ways of operating and fairly assertive "rules for living" . . . that challenge some of your new ideas while at the same time overwhelming you with demands that you accommodate their perspectives, as well as your own, so that you have felt stretched pretty thin overall.
You know your ideas are solid and beneficial . . . but you haven't had the chance to move forward with them or bring them along as far as you'd like because of the challenge from "other people" who may be insisting that you need to be cooperative, when, as far as you can see it's they who aren't being as cooperative as they claim. You may feel you're really overextended at the moment . . . especially if you are dealing with commitments that involve writing, publishing, contracts, teaching, sales, communication, consulting, advertising or travel.
You may see you'll have trouble keeping all your present agreements . . . especially because action from these uncooperative "others" keeps interfering with your efforts and eating into your available time, but this month, opportunities to enjoy yourself and exercise your creativity – with perhaps even a sense of defiance as part of your attitude – will help smooth things out and offer you some much-needed elbow room.
Look for chances to "have fun" with what you're involved with . . . and to exercise more "innovation" in the approaches you take. Those opportunities will present themselves this month. Just be open enough to recognize them when they appear, and dare to take advantage of what they seem to offer. This part of the overall "learning experience" can be a delight. Seize the gifts that come with both hands. For sure, you've earned the right.
IF YOUR SUN, MOON OR ASCENDANT IS IN PISCES: Your private life, home situation, family issues and emotional security are in high focus this month. You are looking to build some important foundations to use in the year ahead. This month, the options you choose and the opportunities that arise will become a substantial part of the fabric you are creating, so do keep this in mind as you set new structures for yourself in place.
Ask yourself, "Is this something I want to live with for the next year or so?" And ask yourself, "Does this serve my sense of security and meet my psychological needs?" before giving in to outside demands or committing long-term energy to a choice you know from the beginning may be heading in the wrong direction.
You've been dealing with serious money issues for a while, and although those will remain part of your "situation" for a few more weeks, they will begin to ease soon . . . and meanwhile, you can adopt some new strategies and tactics for coping that will also lessen the tension you've been living with lately.
For the next month or so, you may find yourself still dealing with your need to expand your available income and "have more" in the way of resources, possessions, material assets, etc., and STILL contribute to some "joint property" structure, some set of "community assets" you don't wholly control but that you do participate in. You may also find you have to deal with someone else's "control issues" in this regard, someone else who isn't being as cooperative as he thinks he is, or as cooperative as you might like.
This could be a fairly tense situation, actually . . . whether it expresses outwardly in temper flare-ups or only inwardly in a sense of being "spread too thin and overcommitted." But when it comes to decisions about what you should do and how you should compromise in these matters, your "path of arbitration and compromise" are those questions I mentioned above.
If you can include the "other person" in the "family" you are trying to create, experience, or maintain, then some serious discussions and agreements between the two of you might be a feasible thing to do. Otherwise, realize that your private life, home situation and emotional welfare is what needs to be considered, and make your decisions accordingly. The opportunities that come this month are too valuable to waste by compromising without thought . . . or through sacrificing yourself for the sake of peace, which is an habitual tactic of yours, you know.
